Support Worker

Job Type: Permanent position | Casual position Job Description Value Care are currently seeking casual Aged Care and Disability Support workers for an immediate start.
Aged Care and Disability Support Workers duties and responsibilities include: Provide direct care assistance to each client in accordance with their service plan and as directed by the manager.
Support clients to participate in age-appropriate activities and in home support like housekeeping, grocery shopping or meal preparation.
Personal Care: personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, help at mealtime.
Transport to appointments or shopping trips.
Support clients to access activities and outings in the community.
Work in accordance with the medication administration policy.
Work within health and safety procedures and client rights policies including privacy and confidentiality.
Monitor the safety and well-being of the clients and report any concerns to the manager.
Ensure completion of appropriate documentation.
Relevant information on support provided is to be recorded in client notes and communication book as required.
