Orthoptist/Science Technician/Graduate Position Pakenham Eye Clinic is seeking an Orthoptist/Science/University Graduate for permanent part-time work (3 to 4 days per week or more for the right candidate).
We are a growing Ophthalmology clinic focused on delivering high-quality patient care.
Our goal is to provide patients with access to world-class specialist care, including the latest technology and treatments.
We are a small and friendly team currently comprising of 3 Ophthalmologists and 2 administration staff.
The Orthoptist/Technician will undertake: Patient's ophthalmic and medical history/Orthoptic assessment Clinical assessment of patients and perform investigations such as visual field testing, OCT, Biometry and Corneal Topography Primary assessment and triage of referrals Ability to work well with technology and various instruments IOL selection You will have: Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills Ability to follow instructions and willingness to learn new skills Be rewarded with a competitive above Award salary and supportive friendly team.
