Editorialist YX is looking for an Operations Assistant who is capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. In order to accomplish our mission, we need to provide our clients with the best luxury customer experience by delivering outstanding support and services. The operations assistant is a key member of the team and one of the final, important steps before an order is delivered to the customer and before an order is returned to our partners. In order to perform this position successfully, an individual must be extremely organized and detailed oriented.
This position will be working solely with two other team members in a safe office environment. $20-25/hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Sort and prepare products to send to our UHNW clients and returns back to the retailer
Receive, pack, and ship products by clearly following SOP guidelines
Use computer and shipping software to manage incoming and outgoing shipments
Schedule and be present for package carrier pickups
Maintain adequate levels of warehouse supplies and organization
Maintain clean flow for receiving and shipping products
Identify Quality Control errors and follow correctional procedures
Follow SOP and QC guidelines
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year in warehouse or packing / shipping operations
Ability to bend, lift, and carry objects of various sizes and up to 40 lbs
Excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills
Punctual, good work ethic and highly adaptable
Thrives in a fast paced work environment and has a strong ability to multitask and learn quickly
Experience in working with cross-functional teams
Desire to meet & exceed productivity goals.
This position works up to 20 hours a week, Monday - Friday: 9am-1pm or 12-4PM PST.
Physical Requirements:
The employee is required to operate a computer for extended periods of time. The employee must be able to bend, lift, and carry objects of varying sizes up to up to 40 pounds.
