6 days ago, from JPS Medical Recruitment The Role The Medical Oncology Consultant delivers top-tier clinical care to patients in the Medical Oncology Department, excelling in both individual performance and leadership within a multidisciplinary care framework. They engage in teaching medical students, trainee medical officers, and relevant Nursing and Allied Health professionals. Additionally, they actively participate in clinical audit, quality and safety management, clinical risk assessment, research endeavors, and ongoing medical education initiatives. The Hospital The largest regional health service between Sydney and Melbourne. Provides care for a catchment population of 250,000 and has over 2000 staff meeting the needs of the diverse regional community. With a $600 M redevelopment scheduled to be completed by 2027, construction has already started on a new ED and short stay unit. The ED has 20 treatment areas including 4 consulting rooms, a plaster room, an eye room, 12 general cubicles and 2 resuscitation beds. It is also the regional Trauma Centre. The Requirements To apply you must either be: Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience in Medical Oncology On RACP training program within 6 months of completing fellowship Hold or be eligible for the FRACP IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ IMG's with RACP interview date IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be substantially comparable.
