About the Role The Head of Sport (One Haileybury) is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the strategic direction, operational management, and cultural development of the sports program across all of Haileybury's Melbourne campuses. About You This role provides the opportunity for a dynamic individual who can foster a high-performing sporting culture, drive efficiencies, and ensure the smooth coordination of sporting activities and events. To be successful in this role you will have: Demonstrated strategic leadership; Develop and implement a comprehensive sports strategy aligned with the School's vision, mission and magenta principles. As well as leading effective change management practices to support implementation of new initiatives. Significant experience with operational management and oversight of the day-to-day operations of the Sport department, including financial management, scheduling, facility management, transport and representing Haileybury as part of the Associated Public Schools (APS) and Associated Grammar Schools of Victoria (AGSV). Strong people management and leadership, to attract and develop talented team members, ensuring compliance and appropriate staff utilisation. Proven program development to lead a diverse and inclusive sports program that promotes participation, skill development, and healthy competition. Why work for us?
