General Manager - Operations

East Gippsland Catchment Management Authority – Bairnsdale VIC $127,287 - $155,573 a year This senior position is responsible for the delivery and oversight of the strategic and operational functions of the Authority. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the position is responsible for the Management of the Authority's Regional Waterway Strategy including planning, implementation, reporting and evaluation frameworks. The position will also manage all operations within the Authority, including the innovative use of business systems to implement plans. Working closely with Traditional Owners and First Nations people, partner agencies, community groups and landholders, the successful applicant will also represent the Authority at state and regional forums. The salary will be in accordance with the Authority's Salary Classification and Banding Rates within the Band 5 range (dependent on knowledge, skills and experience) $127,287 to $155,573 gross pro rata per annum, plus employer superannuation as per the superannuation guarantee rate.
