Director - Origination

Our client is seeking a highly experienced individual with strong commercial real estate lending and business development experience to join their growing office in Melbourne. As a Director of Origination, you will play a key role in driving the growth and success of new commercial real estate lending opportunities. You will be responsible for sourcing new lending opportunities, while also building and maintaining relationships with borrowers, as well as referral partners. Key responsibilities: Develop an origination strategy to identify and attract commercial real estate lending opportunities.Proactively source new lending opportunities through relationships with borrowers and referral partners, such as brokers.Establish and maintain relationships with key industry partners.Assist with deal structuring and execution in line with credit risk policy.Collaborate and work closely alongside internal teams, including credit and legal. Key experience: Minimum of 7 to 8 years experience in commercial real estate lending.High level understanding of commercial real estate transactions, including deal structuring and credit analysis.Strong broker networks and a proven track record of originating new commercial real estate transactions.Outstanding analytical skills and ability to assess potential investment opportunities.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to establish relationships with internal and external partners.Salary: AUD270,000 - AUD340,000 per annum + super & bonus.Come join our global team of creative thinkers, problem solvers and game changers.
